Volunteering on a research project allowed me to be part of a bigger, long term project which will help improve Mlawula Nature reserve. Finishing this project gave me a sense of fulfilment.

The mixture of the wildlife experience, the volunteer work and the holiday in Mozambique was really good. If you travel for 4 weeks with a group you get close to the people which makes it even more fun. Also the staff from All Out and at Lidwala did a really good job.

I had a completely different experience in Cape Town working with the home based carers than i did in Swaziland at the Ezulwini NCP. This is my second time volunteering with All Out Africa and both trips have been rewarding. It is amazing to see the compassion that All Out Africa has for each community that they work in. I have had a fantastic trip in Swaziland and enjoyed every minute being here. Working with the children has been very rewarding and seeing them smile everyday was amazing. The children had never seen paint before and were fascinated using it. The craft activities were the most successful especially making monkeys, paper plates, fish and elephants. I would love to return to Swaziland in the future as it is a beautiful place. I have really enjoyed my time here.

I didn't know a lot about Swaziland before I left for the country but am now so glad that I chose to go there. As soon as I was met at the airport I felt really at home. There's a perfect balance of freedom to explore and travel the country individually and support from the All out team, with activities and social events with the other volunteers. Swaziland is so easy and safe to travel around, the people are so friendly and warm. Its easy to meet people, see places and get a real feel for the culture they live in.
