Coaching for Conservation

All out Africa volunteers Kayla and Nick had the opportunity to experience the wilderness during their training period which fostered great understanding and commitment towards their coaching ability in delivering clear messages to children under the motto “respect yourself, respect each other, and respect your environment.”  Local and international volunteers bonded and had a lot of fun in sharing in a phenomenal project that combines sports, health and conservation toward the development of our future – children.

The volunteers brought their experience in the bush back to town where 600 children gathered at the local sports complex and participated in innovative games and football that sent clear messages of respect and conservation.  Children, volunteers, and the rest of the C4C team had fun!! Fun!! Fun!!  The chanting and cheering thundered throughout Maun.

Today’s final tournament closes a successful week-long conservation and sporting event, and we can’t wait to send our volunteers next year.
