Whale Shark & Kruger Volunteer Adventure
In April 2012 we are launching a new programme. Though technically, it’s not brand new – it’s more of a combination of our most popular volunteer project and most popular tour.
Ladies and gentleman, we would like to introduce you to the “Whale Shark and Kruger Volunteer Adventure.”
It is a 5-week placement or 9-week placement. For the 5-week option it is a combination of four weeks of volunteering on the Whale Shark Conservation Project in Mozambique, three days exploring the Kingdom of Swaziland and ending with a 5-day safari in the world famous Kruger National Park in South Africa. For the 9-week option all is the same except it is eight weeks of volunteering with Whale Shark Conservation rather than four.
The idea with this programme is to offer a complete southern African wildlife volunteer/travel experience and the opportunity to see some of the world’s most magnificent wildlife. The African safari experience is famed for finding the “Big 5” – lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino but the oceans off Tofo beach in Mozambique also have the allure of what has been phrased “Tofo’s Big 5” – whale sharks, humpback whales, dolphins, turtles and manta rays.
Volunteers will help with the protection of Mozambique’s fragile marine ecosystem, explore the land of the last true remaining monarch in Africa and be awe-inspired by the magnificence and diversity of wildlife in Kruger National Park. All Out hopes you agree that this is an amazing combination of work and adventure!
We will start running this programme in May. As always, the arrival date is the first Monday of the month. Below are the arrival and departure dates and rates for the 5-week option and 9-week option:
