My volunteering in Swaziland was an amazing experience and it is very satifactory to have made, even if only for a few weejs, a difference and to have helped the more needy people and children in Swaziland with our presence and our work. The volunteer work gives you more of an oppourtunity to get to know the country and the local people not as a toursit but as a partner and a friend and to dive deeply into the local culture and way of life.

Karin volunteered with All Out Africa in Swaziland in 2010 and has been a big supporter of the All Out mission ever since. She hails from Stockholm, Sweden and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kalmar. Aside from falling in love with the friendliness and spontaneity of life in southern Africa, Karin is also motivated by the joy and inspiration that both volunteers and communities provide each other through projects like All Out's. In her role as Bookings and Marketing Officer, she hopes to encourage as many people as possible to come and experience the brilliance of going 'All Out' in southern Africa!

Emily Howard, a past volunteer with All Out Africa who came to Swaziland, joined our Kruger to Coast program in June 2008 and during her time here she worked on a Building project in a rural community in Mhlangatane, Northern Swaziland.
