Dr Simon Pierce is a marine biologist working in Mozambique since 2005 whose professisonal interests revolve around the population ecology and conservation biology of sharks and rays. He is also lead whale shark scientist for the Foundation For the Protection of Marine Megafauna and is Executive Director of Eyes on the Horizon.
